Who is responsible for your data

FobbWorks is run by Dennis Fobbs and is based in Denmark. FobbWorks is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

You can reach us about anything on this page at hello@fobb.works. We aim to answer any privacy request within 30 days.

What we collect

We collect what you actively give us, plus the standard technical data any website receives.

• Contact form: your name, your business name, your description of the business, the challenges and type of help you select, the tools you currently use, your email address, your website or social profile, and whether you would like to book an intro call. We also record which language version of the site you used and when you submitted the form.
• AI voice assistant: if you start a conversation, your microphone audio and a transcript of that conversation are processed in order to generate a spoken reply.
• Analytics: Google Analytics is currently disabled, so the site does not collect analytics usage data or set Google Analytics cookies.
• Server logs: your IP address, browser user agent and request timestamps, recorded automatically by our hosting provider.

We do not ask for, and have no use for, sensitive categories of personal data such as health, religion or political views. Please do not submit them through the contact form or the voice assistant.

Why we are allowed to use it

The GDPR requires a legal basis for every use of personal data. For the contact form and any correspondence that follows, our basis is legitimate interest (responding to someone who has asked us about our services) and, once we agree to work together, performance of a contract.

For the AI voice assistant and any non-essential cookies, the basis is your consent. Google Analytics is currently disabled; if analytics is introduced later, it will require consent before it starts. You can withdraw consent at any time, and doing so does not affect anything we did while it was still given.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only with the service providers we need in order to run the site and reply to you:

• n8n: receives contact form submissions and routes them to our inbox. This runs on our own self-hosted server, not a third-party cloud.
• ElevenLabs: powers the voice assistant and processes the audio and transcript of any conversation you start with it.
• Anthropic: provides the Claude language model that generates the assistant's replies.
• Google Analytics: currently disabled and not receiving usage data from this site.
• Calendly: handles intro call bookings, if you choose to book one.
• Vercel: hosts the site and keeps standard server logs.

We may also disclose data where the law requires it, for example in response to a valid order from a public authority.

Transfers outside the EU

Our n8n server sits inside the EU. ElevenLabs, Anthropic, Calendly and Vercel are US-based, so using the voice assistant or booking a call involves transferring data outside the EU and EEA. Google Analytics is currently disabled.

Those transfers rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and, where the provider is certified, on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Cookies

The site uses a small number of cookies:

• NEXT_LOCALE: remembers whether you chose Danish or English. It is set only when you use the language switcher and is kept for one year. This one is strictly necessary to keep the site in the language you asked for.
• Google Analytics cookies: Google Analytics is currently disabled and does not set analytics cookies on this site.
• Calendly: sets its own cookies if you open the booking widget.

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking the language cookie means the site will fall back to detecting your language on every visit.

How long we keep it

Contact form submissions and any email correspondence are kept for as long as we are in conversation, and for up to two years afterwards so we can pick up where we left off.

Voice assistant recordings and transcripts are retained by ElevenLabs under their own retention settings. Google Analytics is currently disabled, so there is no analytics retention period. Server logs are kept short-term by our host for security and debugging.

If you ask us to delete your data, we will, unless we are legally required to keep it.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

• Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Have inaccurate data corrected
• Have your data erased
• Restrict or object to how we use it
• Receive your data in a portable, machine-readable format
• Withdraw your consent at any time, where our use of the data rests on consent

To use any of these rights, email hello@fobb.works. It costs nothing and we will respond within 30 days.

Complaints

If you think we are handling your data incorrectly, please tell us first at hello@fobb.works so we can put it right.

You also have the right to complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency, Datatilsynet (dt@datatilsynet.dk, datatilsynet.dk).

Changes to this policy

We update this policy as the site changes. The current version is always the one on this page, with the date it was last updated shown at the top. If we make a significant change to how we use your data, we will say so here.
